In this day and age, with the vulnerability of the Earth demanding attention worldwide, the question arises: what is the importance of literature in today’s crises? The Global Nexus Series conference, centered around “Writing for the Earth: The Role of Nature in Literature,” illuminated such relevant issues and sought answers to how literature can transcend its traditional role and become instrumental in environmental action and societal change.
